Test the 80 x 80 format before committing to a case

One roll to validate the larger format at your workstation. The 80 mm width nearly doubles the printable area compared with 58 mm: that’s the first thing to check by printing your actual kitchen tickets or delivery seals rather than a test pattern.

Check three things: your POS software’s layout when set to 80 mm, readability from a distance in the conditions at your pass or counter, and how the printer handles an 80 mm diameter roll.

Please note, this format is not suitable for scales: their print modules are 58 mm or narrower. If you’re equipping a weighing station, test the 58 mm sample instead.

The format is also available in a case of 36 rolls.
