Which linerless label width should you choose: 40, 58, 80, or 100 mm?
Share
Width is the primary criterion for choosing a linerless label. Each size corresponds to specific uses. Here’s how to find your way.
40 mm: hot drinks and small sizes
The 40 mm size is used for cups and hot drinks in coffee shops, as well as small price labels. Example: our 40 x 100 mm repositionable labels.
58 mm: the most versatile size
The 58 mm size covers most needs: order tickets, expiration dates, price labeling, and scales. It is the standard size in restaurants and retail. See for example the 58 x 80 mm in a carton of 36 rolls.
80 mm: large surface for kitchen and delivery
The 80 mm size offers a large printing area, ideal for detailed order slips and delivery labels. Example: our 80 x 80 mm labels.
100 mm: logistics and shipping
The 100 mm size is used for parcels and pallets, with long roll lengths. Example: our 100 x 115 mm permanent labels.
If in doubt
First check the width accepted by your printer, then the label size you need. A sample allows you to validate the size before ordering a carton.
