Repositionable, permanent, or reinforced adhesive: how to choose your linerless label?

Beyond the width, the type of adhesive determines the performance of your linerless label. There are three types, each for a specific use.

Repositionable (restick)

The repositionable adhesive sticks and peels off cleanly without leaving residue. Ideal for sealing delivery bags, identifying orders, and relabeling without damaging the surface. It is the preferred choice in restaurants and for hot beverages.

Permanent

The permanent adhesive ensures long-lasting hold. Once applied, the label stays in place. Perfect for parcel labeling, shipping, and logistics where identification must remain reliable over time.

Reinforced

The reinforced adhesive holds even in cold, humid environments or on difficult surfaces (recycled cardboard, plastics, greasy surfaces). Essential for frozen goods and demanding logistics.

How to decide?

Ask yourself two questions: does the label need to be removable (repositionable) or permanent? And is the environment challenging, cold, or humid (reinforced)? The answer will guide you directly to the right roll.

If in doubt, test with a sample on your actual surface before ordering.
